Mushroom Pate

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 tb Chopped Garlic In Oil
  • 1/2 ts Dried Tarragon
  • 1 tb Tomato Paste
  • 1/8 ts Cayenne Pepper


Clean mushrooms and place in food processor. Pulse several times, then
process about 1 minute until the mushrooms are very finely chopped. Place
the garlic with its oil in a medium fry pan. Add the mushrooms and cook
over high heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is nearly dry, about
6 minutes. Stir in the tarragon, tomato paste and cayenne, blending well.
Serve warm or at room temperature. Good on crisp sesame crackers.
