New England Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients List
- 1 cn Pumpkin equal to 2 cups
- 1 1/2 tb Butter (melted)
- 1 tb Cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c Milk or 12oz evaporated
- Milk
- 1/2 ts Cinnamon
- 1 c Sugar
- 1/2 ts Ginger
- 1/8 c Molasses
- 1/2 ts Nutmeg
- 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 1/2 ts Salt (scant)
Directions
Sift Sugar, Cornstarch, Salt, Cinnamon, Ginger and Nutmeg togeather. Mix
this with pumpkin. Add Eggs, beaten, Melted Butter, Molasses and Milk. Add
a dash of Lemon juice (if desired). Line a 9 inch pie pan. Pour in
contents. Preheat oven and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce
heat to 350 degrees and bake for anothe 50 minutes.
