Old English Cheddar Soup

Ingredients List
- 2 sm Onions; peeled & diced
- 3 md Carrots; peeled & diced
- 4 oz Bacon; diced
- 2 tb Butter
- 3 tb Flour
- 4 c Chicken broth
- 1/2 c Milk
- 1/4 c Amberg's Sur-Lie Chardonnay
- 10 oz Heluva Good Sharp Cheddar
- -Cheese
- Salt; pepper and nutmeg
Directions
Cook bacon in butter until light brown. Add onions and carrots and saute
for a few minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring
continuously. Add broth, milk and Chardonnay. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add
cheese and season to taste.
