Ingredients List
- 1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (I used Hidden Veggie Twisted Elbows)
- 1 small green pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions
1. Brown beef in large saucepan over medium heat. Drain and set aside in bowl.
2. In same saucepan, add olive oil and cook onion, pepper and macaroni. Cook until onion and bell pepper begin to soften.
3. Add cooked beef, tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Cover and simmer on low for 20-25 minutes or until macaroni is cooked to your preference.
5. Serve in bowls and enjoy! (Makes about 6 servings)
