Onion bombs

 Ingredients List

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 lb. ground beef, turkey, or pork
  • 1/2 clove of garlic finely chopped (or tsp of minced garlic)
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 slice of bread torn into small pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheese (any kind you prefer)
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • *optional - meatloaf seasoning or other spices and herbs you like

 Directions

1. Cut Onion in half
2. Mix Meat and all the other ingredients together until well combined
3. Fill each matched onion halves with the meat mixture
4. Wrap each onion bomb individually in aluminum foil
5. Grill 8-10 minutes, flip and grill another 8-10 minutes.
6. *Keep a close eye on them to make sure they're not overcooking. Once meat is cooked through, they're ready to serve.
