Onions and Mushrooms in Sauce

 Ingredients List

  • 2 cn Cans small onions; drained
  • 1 cn (4-oz) mushrooms; drained
  • 1/2 Stick butter
  • 4 tb Flour
  • 2 c Milk
  • 1/4 lb Grated cheese
  • 2 tb Mayonnaise

 Directions

Make white sauce of butter, flour and milk. When thick, add cheese and
mayonnaise, stirring well. Combine onions and mushrooms, put into 1-1/2
quart casserole and pour sauce over. Top with seasoned bread crumbs. Bake
at 350 for 45 minutes. Perfect with barbecued meat.
