Oyster Stuffed Hamburgers

 Ingredients List

  • 125 g Trimmed lean organic beef
  • Preferably feather steak
  • 2 ts Shallots, finely chopped
  • -and trimmed; optional
  • 1 ts Fresh herbs, finely
  • -chopped; optional
  • 1 pn Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • 4 Oysters; shelled
  • 1 Bun

 Directions

Mince or finely chop the beef. Mix the meat with the shallots, herbs and
pepper, and shape it into a firm patty shape, roughly the size of the bun,
enclosing the oysters in the meat. Have the grill hot, or use a
well-seasoned cast-iron or non-stick frying pan. Cook the hamburger on both
sides until done to your liking. Lightly salt it and serve hot on a lightly
toasted soft bap.
