Pat's Seafood Stock

 Ingredients List

  • 2 qt Water
  • 6 Celery stalks, cut into
  • 2 inch pieces
  • 2 md Onions, peeled and quartered
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Fresh shrimp heads, and/or
  • Shells, lobster heads, and
  • Or shells, fresh fish bones.
  • Use ingredients singly or in
  • Combination.

 Directions

Combine all ingredients in large sauce pan or stockpot and bring to rapid
boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer slowly 2 to 8 hours depending on
strength of flavor desired. Strain before using.
