Pear Corned Beef Slaw

 Ingredients List

  • 2 Fresh USA Bartlett pears;
  • -red and yellow,
  • Cored; diced
  • 6 c Shredded cabbage
  • 1 cn Corned beef; (12 ounces)
  • -cubed
  • 1/4 c Chopped onion
  • 1 c Mayonnaise
  • 1 c Cubed Swiss cheese
  • 1 tb Vinegar
  • 2 ts Prepared mustard
  • 1 ts Prepared horseradish
  • 2 ts Sugar
  • 2 ts Celery seed
  • 1 ts Caraway seed; (optional)


Toss together pears, cabbage, corned beef, Swiss cheese and onion. Blend
mayonnaise with remaining ingredients. Add to salad and toss gently, so
that all ingredients are coated evenly. Serve in a lettuce lined bowl.
Garnish with additional red and yellow pear slices and parsley, if desired.

Always be sure to use ripe pears.
