Perfect Peanut Butter & Baking Soda Cookies

Ingredients List
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Directions
1. Combine butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until blended.
2. Combine remaining dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Slowly add dry ingredients to peanut butter mixture until well combined.
4. Form dough into balls and place on Silpat or parchment paper lined cookie sheet..
5. Using a fork, press down the balls and create a criss cross pattern.
6. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven until for about 7 minutes until they look just barely done, almost underdone. DO NOT over bake! The cookies will get dry and crumbly if over baked.
7. Cool completely on wire rack and store in airtight container.
