  • 2 c Granulated sugar
  • 1/8 ts Cream of tartar
  • 1 c Hot water
  • 1/2 ts Vanilla


About 1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Cook granulated sugar, cream of tartar, and hot water to thin syrup (226ø).
Cool to lukewarm (110ø).
