Pineapple Buttermilk Sherbet

Ingredients List
- 1 tb Unflavored Gelatin; 1
- -Envelope
- 1/4 c Water
- 2 c Buttermilk
- 1/2 c Sugar
- 1 c Crushed Pineapple
- 1 Egg White
- 1 ts Vanilla
Directions
1. Soften the gelatin in the water and dissolve over hot water.
2. Let it cool a bit and add it to the buttermilk, sugar and crushed
pineapple.
3. Blend well and place in freezer until ice crystals form and it's mushy.
4. Remove and beat until soft peaks form.
5. Add the egg whites and vanilla and beat again.
6. Cover and return to freezer for at least 3 hours.
Makes 1 quart.
