Pizzetti [Pizza & Spaghetti Casserole]

Pizzetti [Pizza & Spaghetti Casserole]

Ingredients List
- 1 package regular spaghetti noodles
- 1½ jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce (we use Rago Old World Traditional)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ - 1 package pepperoni (depending on how much you want)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Directions
1. Boil noodles with extra virgin olive oil for amount of time specified on package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Cover the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish with a light layer of sauce.
3. Add a light layer of cheese on top of the noodles.
4. Add a layer of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
5. Add your noodles on top of the pepperoni
6. Cover your noodles with a good layer of sauce and then top with remaining cheese
7. Top with peperoni and place in a 350° oven for 20-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. We then turn on the broiler and let it cook for about 2-5 minutes until the cheese starts to brown... but be careful not to burn the pepperoni. We keep a close eye on it!
8. Blot the top of the pepperoni and cheese with a napkin to soak up any excess grease.
9. Serve and enjoy!
