Poached Scallops

 Ingredients List

  • 2 c Water
  • 1/2 c Dry white wine
  • 1 sm Quartered onion
  • 1 ds Oregano
  • 1 ds Thyme
  • 1/2 Bay leaf
  • 1/4 lb Fresh bay scallops
  • Lemon juice


Combine water, wine, onion & herbs; bring to boil. Add scallops; cook
until firm & white. Sprinkle with lemon juice; serve at once.
