Poppy Seed Bread

 Ingredients List

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 1 1/2 c Salad oil
  • 3 c Flour
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1 1/2 ts Baking soda
  • 1 cn (13-oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 tb Vanilla
  • 2 oz Poppy seed

 Directions

Preheat oven to 350ø. In a mixer, beat eggs with sugar until light and
fluffy. Gradually add salad oil. Sift flour, salt, and soda. Add
alternately with milk. Add vanilla and poppy seeds. Pour into 2 greased and
floured 9x5 loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour. This bread has a sweet flavor.
Yield: 2 loaves.
