Potato and Cheese Scones

Ingredients List
- 1½ cups self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 3 tablespoons butter,diced
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1 cup cold mashed potato
- 3-4 tablespoons milk,plus extra for glazing
Directions
1. In a mixing bowl,combine the flour,baking powder,salt and mustard powder.
2. Mix well,then add the butter and rub in until the mixture resembles the breadcrumbs.
3. Place the low grilling rack in turbo oven.
4. Set halogen oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).
5. Add grated cheese,mashed potatoes and sufficient milk to mix to a soft,light dough.
6. Transfer to floured surface and roll out to 3/4-inch (2 cm) thickness.
7. Cut into 8 rounds with 2½-inch (6 cm) cutter.
8. Place potato and cheese scones on an oiled round baking tray and brush with milk.
9. Transfer baking tray with a scones to hot turbo oven.
10. Cover oven and cook for 7-10 minutes,until golden brown on the top and bottom,and cooked through.
11. Transfer potato and cheese scones to a wire rack.
12. Serve warm with butter.
