Pumpkin and Coconut Curry

 Ingredients List

  • 500 g Pumpkin, peeled and cubed
  • 1 lg Onion, finely sliced
  • 2 ts Chopped garlic
  • 1 ts Ground turmeric
  • 1 ts Chilli powder
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1/2 ts Ground black pepper
  • 1 ts Dried shrimp paste
  • 2 tb Coconut cream
  • 1 1/2 c Hot water
  • 2 Fresh green chillies, sliced


Place all ingredients, except pumpkin, into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, Then add pumpkin, cover and simmer
until tender. Serve with boiled rice.
