Pumpkin Hershey's Kiss Cookies

Ingredients List
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
- ½ cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup unsweetened pumpkin puree
- 1 large egg
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Additional sugar for rolling
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, shortening, sugar and brown sugar.
3. Mix in pumpkin puree and egg.
4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture.
5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in additional sugar.
6. Place dough on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 7-9 minutes, or until lightly browned.
7. Remove from the oven and gently press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
8. Let cool completely.
