Puppy Dog Cupcake

Ingredients List
- Ingredients:
- Half cup soft butter
- 2/3cup superfine sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp pure vanilla essence
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- For DECORATION
- Ingredients:
- 2 and a half cups powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1 tbsp water
- Chocolate buttons
- chocolate covered peanuts or coffee beans
- Milano cookies or caramels
Directions
Beat together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, adding a spoonful of the flour and the vanilla with the second egg. Beat in the remaining flour.
Line a bun tin with paper cases and half fill each case with the mixture.
Bake in an oven pre-heated to 350F for 18 to 20 minutes until well risen and the cakes spring back when you press them with your fingertips.
Decorations:
Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl. Beat the butter until creamy gradually adding the sugar until smooth and finally beat in the water. Alternatively you can buy a tub of ready prepared frosting. Spread the frosting over the cupcakes.
Stick the cookies/caramels on for ears.
Add the chocolate button for an eyes, chocolate covered peanuts or coffee beans for the nose, and the Starburst for the tongue.
