Red Sour Cabbage

 Ingredients List

  • 2 lb Red cabbage
  • 2 1/2 c Water
  • 2 ts Salt
  • 4 tb Vinegar
  • 2 ts Caraway seeds
  • 4 ts Sugar
  • Cut cabbage into fine
  • Shreds
  • Cut cabbage into fine


in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Cover pot, reduce heat, and simmer for 2
1/2 hours. Add more water if necessary. Serve hot. Serves 8
