Ingredients List
- First Layer
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 2nd Layer
- 12 Reese's peanut butter cups (use more if you like)
- 3rd Layer
- 8 oz. package cream cheese softened
- 1 cup peanut butter (chunky or creamy)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 sticke butter, melted
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
1st Layer
In a large bowl, combine the ingredients for the 1st layer. Spread the mixture into the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan patting it down with your hands.
2nd Layer
Arrange the peanut butter cups on top of the cake mix layer.
3rd Layer
Beat the cream cheese until it's smooth. Add the peanut butter, eggs, vanilla and melted butter. Beat until combined. Add the powdered sugar and mix until combined. Spread the mixture evenly over the cake layer and peanut butter cups. An offset spatula is very helpful for this.
Bake for 35-45 minutes. You'll want the center to be a little jiggly, so don't over bake.
Enjoy!
