Rice with Snow Peas And Red Pepper

 Ingredients List

  • 2 c Chicken stock
  • 2 tb Soya sauce
  • 1 1/2 ts Minced ginger root (or 1/2
  • -tsp. ground ginger)
  • 1 cl Garlic, minced
  • 1 c Long-grain white rice
  • 2 c Snow peas, cut into 1 inch
  • -diagonal pieces-about 8 oz.
  • Half red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 Green onions, chopped
  • 1 ts Toasted sesame oil (opt)


In a medium saucepan, combine stock, soya sauce, ginger and garlic; bring
to a boil. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20
minutes or until rice is just tender.
