Rolled Grape Leaves #2

 Ingredients List

  • 1 lb Lean ground meat
  • 1/2 c Uncooked rice
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/2 ts Pepper
  • 1/2 ts Cinnamon
  • 1 tb Butter or margarine
  • Washed; tender grape leaves
  • Chicken parts: back; wings,
  • -etc.
  • 2 Lemons; juice of


Combine first six ingredients, place 1 Teaspoon of dressing on grape leaf &
roll tightly. Continue until all of the filling has been used. Place rolled
grape leaves over chicken parts in a stewing pot & cover with cold water.
Simmer over low fire for 1 hour. 20 minutes before done, add juice of 2
lemons, bring to a boil & simmer.
