Ingredients List
- 6 Lamb shanks
- 1/4 c Flour
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ts Paprika
- 1/2 ts Pepper
- 1/4 c Olive oil
- 1 ts Crushed rosemary
- 3 Orange slices (cut in half)
- Oven baked potatoes
Directions
Coat lamb with mixture of flour, salt, paprika & pepper. Place in
shallow baking pan; pour oil over all & sprinkle with rosemary. Bake,
uncovered, in 350 oven for 2 1/2- 3 hours, turning occasionally,
until crisp on outside. If gravy is desired, mix 1 Tbls. drippings
with 1 Tbls. flour. Stir in 1/2 tsp. salt & 1 cup water; cook & stir
over med heat until thickened. Serve meat with gravy, orange slices &
baked potatoes.
