Salmon Broccoli Pasta -ii

 Ingredients List

  • 1 lb tagliatelle - or whatever pasta you have on hand
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 2 salmon fillets - about 8oz total
  • 1 cup garlic herb cream cheese


1. Put a large pan of water on to boil

2. Meanwhile chop the broccoli into florets

3. When the water is boiling add the pasta - set the timer for the required cooking time for your pasta

4. If using a steamer pan add the broccoli then the salmon to the steamer and cook alongside the pasta

5. If you don't have a steamer:

6. - chop the salmon into chunks

7. - add the broccoli to the cooking pasta 5 minutes before the end of its cooking time

8. - add the salmon to the cooking pasta 2 minutes before the end of its cooking time

9. Drain the pasta, broccoli and salmon saving about half a cup of cooking water

10. Put the cream cheese into the hot pan and stir to melt

11. If using a steamer, flake the salmon now

12. Add the broccoli, pasta and salmon to the cheese

13. Toss and serve immediately with fresh ground black pepper
