Salsify or Vegetable Oyster Soup

 Ingredients List

  • 5 Salsify roots; medium
  • 1 qt Milk; whole
  • 1 tb Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Pare roots and slice or run through fruit chopper. Boil in just enough
water to cover salsify. Add milk, butter and seasoning. Bring to a boil.
