Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Muffins

Ingredients List
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup cooked, crumbled sausage (I bought the pre-cooked turkey sausage, another time saver) or more to your liking
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups flour ( I blended all-purpose and whole white wheat)
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/8 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp of pepper
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk and oil together. Stir in the sausage and cheese. Add in the dry ingredients until blended. Fill paper liners 2/3 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool on the rack out of the muffin tin. Store in the fridge and microwave for 30 seconds just before you eat. Makes 12.
