Sauteed Patty Pans - South Africa

 Ingredients List

  • 4 Patty pans per person
  • 2 ts Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 c Water
  • 1 tb Sherry

 Directions

Put 2 cups of water into a small saucepan with a pinch of salt and 4 patty
pans. Bring to the boil and remove patty pans once they are al dente and
keep to one side.

Melt butter in pan and lightly saut”š the patty pans, adding the sherry at
the last minute. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
