Scotch Toast

 Ingredients List

  • 4 Heated oatcakes
  • Fish paste
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 1 Pinches cayenne pepper
  • 2 tb Browned bread crumbs


Make sure oatcakes are hot.

Melt butter in a pan, add 2 egg yolks, 1 egg white, fish paste, pepper.

Stir until thick.

Pile mixture on top of oatcakes.

Sprinkle with browned bread crumbs; serve immediately.
