Sherried Walnuts And Cashews

 Ingredients List

  • 2 tb Brown sugar
  • 1/4 ts Cinnamon
  • 1/4 c Dry sherry
  • 2 tb Corn syrup
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 2 c Walnut halves
  • 2 c Cashew halves


Heat oven to 250øF. Line 15x10x1 inch baking pan with foil. In large
skillet, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, sherry, corn syrup and butter.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir in walnuts and
cashews; cook and stir 4 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Spread
nuts on foil lined pan.
