Shrimp Ceviche-Enjoy!!!

 Ingredients List

  • 1 lb Fresh Shrimp
  • 1 1/2 c Lime Juice
  • 1 c Medium White Onion-Diced
  • 2 c Medium Tomatoes-Diced
  • 2 c Celery Stalks-Diced
  • 1 c Jalapenos-Seeded and Diced
  • 1/3 c Cilantro-Chopped
  • 3 tbsp Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Salt to Taste
  • 2 c Avocados-Sliced
  • 12 oz Tortilla or Tostada Chips


Step 1: Combine fresh chopped shrimp, onion and lime juice in a medium-sized bowl, cover, and refrigerate for approximately 4 hours. The acidic lime juice will cook the shrimp, causing their color to change from blue/gray to pink.

Step 2: Remove shrimp from refrigerator, drain off liquid, and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add tomato, celery, jalapeno, and cilantro. Mix ingredients well, add the orange juice and salt to taste, then return to the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Step 4: Garnish with cilantro and avocado slices then serve with tortilla or tostada chips
