- Recipe Right 10"x16" cooling grid
- 9" spatula
- Cake leveler
- White Decorator Icing
- White Ready-To-Use rolled fondant
- Roll-N-Cut Mat
- 9" fondant roller
- Fondant trimmer
- Bold Tip Primary Colors FoodWriter edible color markers
- Favorite white cake recipe or mix
- Mini chocolate chips
- Knife
- Food-safe scissors
- Plastic ruler
Directions
*Combine Leaf Green with Kelly Green for green shown.
1. Make cake. Prepare favorite white cake mix following recipe directions. Tint batter with 1/4 teaspoon Red-Red Icing Color. Stir in 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Bake 1-layer cake and allow to cool. Allow to cool in refrigerator until chocolate chips are hardened. Use cake leveler to trim off top of cake.
2. Decorate cake. Use spatula and icing to ice cake sides. For rind, tint 8 oz. fondant green. Use fondant roller with purple guide rings to roll out 1/8" thick. Use trimmer to cut a 1" wide strip and attach to cake sides; trim to fit. Use edible color marker to draw lines for rind.
