Slow Cooker Beef Stew.

 Ingredients List

  • 2 pounds Beef Roast, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp minced Garlic
  • 1 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 lb Potatoes cubed
  • 1 lb Baby Carrots
  • 2 stalks Celery, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Brown Gravy mix
  • 2 cup Wate

 Directions

1. Place meat in slow cooker.

2. In a small bowl mix together the flour, salt, and pepper; pour over meat, and stir to coat meat with flour mixture.
Stir in remaining ingredients.

3. Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on

4. High setting for 4 to 6 hours.

5. Remove bay leaf before serving.

6 This Slow Cooker Beef Stew cooked for hours and the meat was so tender. Letting it cook all day really allows the flavor to inject in the meat and tenderize it. We typically cook our Beef Stew o the stove top. Not anymore ha ha! I think the slow cooker Beef stew recipe is a keeper. A HUGE thank you to the hubby for coming up with this one!

7. The gravy that was produced while cooking is great for dipping (if you follow my recipes you must know that I am a big dipper). Having a fresh loaf of bread with some butter is highly suggested if you are making this Beef Stew.
