Slow Cooker Chicken Cayenne Pepper

Ingredients List
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Aluminum foil
Directions
1. Loosely wad up 8-10 balls of aluminum foil.
2. Place them on the bottom of the slow cooker. Spray cooking spray on sides of slow cooker.
3. Remove any giblets from chicken and rinse chicken inside/outside with cool water.
4. Pat try with paper towels and rub olive oil on entire chicken.
5. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, salt, pepper, sage, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
6. Rub the spice mixture on entire chicken, coating evenly.
7. Place seasoned chicken, breast side up, into slow cooker on top of tin foil.
8. Place lid on slow cooker and allow to cook on low for about 8 hours.
Once cooked, remove chicken carefully from slow cooker as chicken will be quite tender!
