Sort Gryte (Norwegian Black Pot)

 Ingredients List

  • 10 1/2 oz Can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c Milk
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/2 ts Black pepper
  • 2 c Cooked, diced chicken
  • 1 c Cooked, diced ham
  • 10 oz Package frozen peas
  • 2 Leeks, cooked and cut into
  • -1/2" pieces
  • 4 Tomatoes, peeled and
  • -quartered
  • 1/4 c Madeira wine


In a large saucepan, combine soup, milk, salt, and pepper; blend well.
Heat. Stir in chicken, ham, peas, leeks and tomatoes. Cook, stirring
occasionally, until heated about 10 minutes. Stir in wine.
