Souffleed Appetizers

 Ingredients List

  • 1 Loaf unsliced white bread
  • 1 pk (3-oz) cream cheese
  • 1/4 lb Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c Butter
  • 2 Egg whites; beated stiff

 Directions

Trim crust from bread & cut bread into 1-inch cubes. Melt cheese & butter
in top of double boiler. Remove from heat & fold in stiffly beaten egg
whites. Dip bread cubes into cheese mixture until well coated & place on
cookie sheet. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 10 minutes at 400. Makes about 3
dozen.
