Ingredients List
- 1 c Onions; diced
- 3/4 ts Garlic; minced
- 3 tb Oil (use the oil from frying
- -the tofu)
- 1/4 c Breading mixture left over
- -from the main recipe, or
- -unbleached flour
- 1 1/2 ts Yeast, smoked
- 5 ts Vogue Vegy Base
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Black pepper
- 1 c ;water
Directions
Saute the onions and garlic in the oil for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the
breading mixture, yeast, soup base, salt and pepper and cook 3 to 4 minutes
longer.
Add half of the water, whisking it into the onion and flour mixture. When
it thickens, add the remaining water, whisking to a light consistency.
