Spiced Honey

 Ingredients List

  • 2 c Light-colored honey
  • 1 Vanilla bean, split
  • 1 4" cinnamon stick
  • 2 Whole star anise
  • 2 Whole cloves


In a small saucepan or a miccrowave, heat the honey until just warmed.
Place the spices in the bottom of a decorative spring-top or canning jar.
Pour the warm honey over the spices in the jar. Cover and let sit at room
temperature for 1 week to meld flavors.
