Spiced Iced Tea

 Ingredients List

  • 16 c Water
  • 1 ts Cardamom seeds
  • 1 ts Whole allspice
  • 3 Cinnamon sticks, (3-inch)
  • -halved
  • 8 Regular-sized tea bags
  • Fresh mint sprigs,
  • -(optional)

 Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Remove from
heat; add tea bags. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Strain tea into a
pitcher, and chill. Yield: 1 gallon (serving size: 1 cup).

NOTES : Serve over ice; garnish with fresh mint sprigs, if desired.
