Spicy Beef Pot Roast

 Ingredients List

  • 1/4 ts Marjoram
  • 2 Crushed bay leaves
  • 1 Crushed garlic clove
  • 1 Minced green pepper
  • 1 Minced small onion
  • 1/4 c Olive oil
  • 2 c Orange juice
  • 4 lb Rump roast
  • 1 cn (16oz) tomatoes
  • 1/4 ts Cinnamon
  • 1/8 ts Cloves
  • 2 ts Salt

 Directions

Combine & mash to paste herbs, garlic, green peppers, onion & oil;
rub into meat & let stand 1 hour. Brown meat in large saucepan. Add
remaining ingredients; cover & simmer gently 3-4 hours or until
vegetables are tender. Thicken gravy.
