Spider Oreo Cupcakes

Ingredients List
- For the Cupcakes
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 2 boxes of Halloween Oreo Cookies, you will need Cookies for inside the cupcake and Cookies for the "Spiders"
- Frosting - recipe below
- Chocolate Sprinkles
- Black Licorice
- Small Round Chocolate Candies
- Cupcake Liners
- For the Frosting
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Directions
For the Cupcakes:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
3. Line a cupcake pan with liners.
4. Pour a small amount of batter (enough to cover the bottom) in each cupcake liner.
5. Add an Oreo Cookie to each liner, then fill the cupcake tins.
6. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
Prepare the Frosting:
1. Cream together cream cheese and butter.
2. Mix in vanilla.
3. Slowly add in the powdered sugar; mix until well blended, about 4 minutes.
4. Take out the cupcakes and let completely cool before frosting.
5. Once frosted, add sprinkles, then top with an Oreo.
6. Once the Oreos are on the cupcakes, you can decorate them with chocolate candies as eyes and black licorice strings as legs. You can also do this before placing the Oreos on the cupcakes.
