Steakabobs

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 c Soy sauce
  • 1/2 c Cooking oil
  • 1/2 c Peach or pineapple juice
  • 1 ts Ginger
  • 1/8 ts Garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 lb Round steak; cut in 1/4-inch
  • -strips
  • Canned peach slices
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Cherries
  • Cooked rice

 Directions

Combine soy sauce, oil, juice, ginger and garlic powder and pour over steak
strips, coating both sides. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Thread steak strips on skewers, accordian style, with peaches, pineapple
and cherries between strips. Brush with marinade and broil 3 to 4 inches
from heat for 3 minutes. Turn, brush with marinade, and broil 3 or 4
minutes longer. Serve on a bed of rice. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
