Steamed Rice with Fresh Basil and Cheeses

 Ingredients List

  • 3 c Hot Steamed Rice
  • 2 tb Butter; room temperature
  • 4 oz Mozzarella Cheese; shredded
  • 1/4 c Parmesan Cheese; freshly
  • -grated
  • 2 tb Fresh Basil; minced

 Directions

Put hot rice in serving bowl. Mix in butter, mozzarella, and freshly grated
Parmesan cheese. Add basil; fluff rice with fork before serving.

NOTES : Butter and cheese metling in a bowl of hot steamed rice is one of
the joys of the Italian table. In this version rice is tossed with butter,
fresh basil, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella.
