Strawberry Glaze Shortcake Cake

Ingredients List
- 1 box (16.5 oz) white cake mix
- Additional ingredients to make cake; egg whites, oil and water
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8oz.) container whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 container (13.5 oz.) premade strawberry glaze
- 3 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and cut into bite size pieces)
Directions
1. Make your white cake according to package directions for a 9x13 baking dish.
2. Allow the cake to cool.
3. Then make the next layer.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
5. Plop in your thawed whipped topping and combine well.
6. Smooth over the cooled white cake.
7. In a bowl combine the strawberry glaze with the sliced strawberries.
8. Spread this mixture on top of the cake.
9. Slice and serve.
10. This cake needs to be kept refrigerated.
