Sugar Cookie Jam Bars

  • I batch Buttermilk Sugar Cookies (click on link below)
  • 1 jar of your favorite jam (I used one 10-ounce jar Jamnation Plum and Get It Jam)
  • Vanilla Glaze recipe (recipe in Buttermilk Sugar Cookie link)

 Directions

Bake a batch of Buttermilk Sugar Cookies and let cookies cool. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and spray with baking spray. Once cookies have cooled, take several cookies and smash the cookies down into the pan to create a crust, making sure that the cookies are compacted into a firm crust. Spoon on a layer of your favorite jam on top of the crust. Take three baked cookies and crumble the cookies over the jam. Drizzle vanilla glaze over the top. Pop the bars into the refrigerator to set for 30-minutes, then cut into desired sized squares.
