 Ingredients List

  • 2 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Vinegar
  • 3 tb Butter
  • 1 c Water
  • 1 ts Vanilla


Cook sugar, water, vinegar and butter without stirring, to hard-ball stage.
Remove from heat, add vanilla, and pour on buttered platter. Let stand
until cool enough to pull. This may be tinted with food coloring.
