Tex-Mex Cheese Ball
Ingredients List
- 8 oz Reduced-fat Cheddar cheese,
- Shredded
- 8 oz Light cream cheese,
- Softened
- 2 tb Butter
- 1/8 ts Onion powder
- 1/8 ts Garlic powder
- 1/4 c Green chiles; diced,
- Drained
- 1/4 c Light nacho cheese-flavored,
- Tortillas chips; cru
- 1 tb Fresh parsley or cilantro,
- Chopped
Directions
Food Processor Directions: In food processor bowl with metal blade or
blender container, combine Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, margarine,
onion powder and garlic powder; process until smooth. Add green
chiles; process with on- off pulses until just combined. Cover;
refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until firm. Shape into a ball; roll in
crushed tortilla chips and parsley. Serve with tortilla chips.
