Thanksgiving Side Dishes: Crock Pot Baked Apples

Ingredients List
- 3 lbs Granny Smith apples (about 6 apples)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, cut into small cubes
Directions
1.) Peel and core apples and place them in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
2.) Add sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and corn starch.
3.) Stir completely and dot with butter.
4.) Cover, leaving slightly cracked to allow steam to escape. This keeps the apples from getting too mushy.
5.) Cook on low for 6 hours, stirring about halfway through. Serve as a side or as a dessert with ice cream
