Tomato Mincemeat

 Ingredients List

  • 8 qt Tomato, green
  • 2 Lemon
  • 4 lb Brown sugar
  • 2 lb Raisins
  • 1 tb Salt
  • 2 ts Cloves
  • 1 ts Allspice
  • 1 tb Cinnamon
  • 1 ts Ginger
  • 1/2 ts Mace
  • 1 c Vinegar


Scald and peel the tomatoes. Put through a food chopper with the lemons.
Add sugar, raisins, vinegar and spices and cook about 45 minutes. Pour into
