Turkey-Apple-Cheese Sandwiches

 Ingredients List

  • 1/3 c Vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 c Mango chutney
  • 8 7-grain sandwich bread
  • -slices
  • 1/2 lb Thinly sliced smoked turkey
  • 1 1/2 Fuji or Gala apples (sliced
  • -into 24 pieces)
  • 1/4 lb Thinly sliced muenster
  • -cheese
  • Vegetable cooking spray

 Directions

Combine yogurt and chutney, and stir well. Spread 2 tablespoons yogurt
mixture over each of 4 bread slices; top each with turkey, apple, cheese,
and a bread slice.

Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat
until hot. Add sandwiches; cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
Yield: 4 servings.

NOTES : A substantial bakery-quality whole-grain bread is best for this
